Peggy Pope Peggy along with her husband, Rob, of 21 years are the proud parents of 5 children. Peggy is a nurse currently working at UWMF as a Diabetes Health Educator. Peggy's love of theater did not come till late in life when her and her family participated in past productions such as Joseph and the Technical Color Dream Coat, Beauty and the Beast, Oklahoma and many others. Peggy feels blessed to be on the board of the CD Players and to help ensure this wonderful community theater group will grow and be around for many years to come. Peggy was elected to the board September 2018.
Virginia Becker, Vice President & Costumes Manager Email her at 'Costumes @ cdplayerstheater.com' but no spaces Virginia joined the CD Players in the summer of 2013 and enjoyed the cast and her role as Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast. Last year, as the Mayor's wife in The Music Man, Virginia stepped into her first comedic role. As a Board member, she hopes to help continue the high level of excellence that the CDPlayers is known and loved for!
Joanne 'Jo' Matheson, She joined the board March of 2018. She has been helping for years and it makes her so happy to watch children discover the drama and music side of their personality. Jo says she is honored to be a member of CD Players.
Mikey Jarlsberg, Secretary He became a board member February 2017. Mikey first became involved with the CD Players in 2007 playing Stewpot in South Pacific, then Abel Frake in State Fair. This was his first experience in theater and has been hooked ever since. He’s done several shows in Stoughton, Sun Prairie, and Madison and looks forward to helping the CD Players thrive. This is an amazing, fun group to be involved with. He joined the board in 2017.
Shawn Whitman, Historian Shawn began volunteering for CD Players in 2017, helping with costume making and Green Room design, then moved onto the stage as Captain Brackett in “South Pacific”. He has played many characters in independent films, corporate videos and local theatrical productions. Shawn sees CD Players as a vital part of our community’s identity, a true “cultural treasure” fostering theatrical talent on the stage, showcasing artistic talent behind the scenes and providing a rewarding experience for the audience. He became a board member June 2018.
Lisa Moen Lisa was elected to the board September 2018. She first became involved with the CD Players in 2011 when her son joined the cast of Joseph. Since then, her children have been in the next 11 shows. She has enjoyed all aspects of being a theater mom and looks forward to being a member of the board.

Diane Evensen, Treasurer & Stage Manager Diane has been involved with the Cambridge-Deerfield Players Theater since 2004, has been on the Board for several years, as well as serving as Treasurer since 2011. She has also been the stage manager for all performances to date. She has been involved with both Cambridge High School and Deerfield High School musical performances as stage manager.
Les Williams, Set building Manager: He joined the board September 2017. Les has put together sets for Hello Dolly, Wizard of Oz Jr, our haunted theatre and more.
Deanne Herrling, President, Fundraising and Marketing manager Email her at 'President @ cdplayerstheater.com' but no spaces Deanne joined the board in 2007 as Vice President and then stepped-up into the role of President in 2013. She has been very involved in grant writing and fundraising efforts to improve the CDP headquarters and purchase technical equipment. She has enjoyed being part of the cast (along with her two daughters) in past CDP productions of South Pacific, State Fair, Lil Abner, Joseph, Guys and Dolls, Beauty and the Beast, the 10th anniversary reprise of Music Man, Oklahoma, Into the Woods and Hello Dolly. Most of all, she enjoys watching young and older cast members develop new friendships while blossoming into talented actors. She joined the board in 2007.
Betsy Bamlett She became a board member September 2016.
Peggy Punsel, Props Manager - She jumped into the fun of CD players in 2015 when both her girls wanted to be Oompa Loompas in the Willy Wonka Jr play. Peggy moved to Cambridge in 2004 and lives with her family in her husbands grandparents home. She loves everything about living in a small town and was excited to be able to dabble again in theater set productions as she did in her home town of Wausau when she was growing up.
The Cambridge-Deerfield Players Theater, Inc., offers the Cambridge, Deerfield, Marshall and other Wisconsin-area communities the opportunity to participate in and enjoy all facets of community theater. The mission for the CD Players, Inc. is to support productions and projects that augment and enhance the artistic experience for all who participate whether on stage, behind the scenes or in the audience. These productions are understood to be occasions to refine skills, learn new ones, and have fun!

Renee Tobias, Volunteer Coordinator - Renee has lived in Cambridge with her husband for the last 12 years. She has been an avid supporter of the theater since college. Renee became first involved with the CD Players when her youngest daughter tried out and performed in the Music Man. Although not seen on stage, she enjoys participating in all things backstage. Renee looks forward to supporting future cast and crew in making each play a success.
