Deanne joined CD Players in 2007 as vice president, and has played roles (with her two daughters) in many CDP productions. She became president in 2013 and directed "Mary Poppins" in 2019. Deanne enjoys watching people of all ages enjoy the live theater experience, making new friends and having fun.
Peggy is amazing, a miracle maker! We don't know what we'd do without her support.
Lis has been active on the board for several years. Her children have participated in numerous CD Players performances.
Ken began his journey with CDP as a parent volunteer in 2013. He's performed in several of our shows, and helps with set design too.
Jo has been active in the organization since 2004, first becoming involved when her grandchildren began acting in our performances. Today Jo helps out with costuming for CDP shows.
Gwen is an invaluable member of the team, helping out in many roles in CD Players productions.
Tim has been active with CDP since 2018, first as a parent of his children in our productions, then as a board member. He sees theater as an important character building activity which brings diversity to our communities.
Betsy's a piano virtuoso. You'll hear her on the keyboard at CD Players performances.
Les has been involved with the organization since our 2013 production of "Music Man." He's in charge of set building and fixing things the rest of us don't know how to.
Sarah Dudnik has been on the board for three years, but began her career with the CD Players with their first show, “Music Man”, in 2003. She has also participated in “The Sound of Music”, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat”, “Guys and Dolls”, “Hello Dolly, and starred in “Mary Poppins” in 2019. Since then, she has joined the board and helps with marketing and promoting shows as well as events that the CD Players hold. Sarah is born and raised in Cambridge and now teaches General Music at Cambridge Elementary.
John is our newest member of the board, joining us in 2021. He assists the group with marketing, events and the website. John is the president and founder of John Scott Media, a local web design and marketing company. He lives in Oakland with his wife Cyndi.
